For the past few years, Laser Support Services have been providing support to the semiconductor industry, and now, through our partnership with National Laser Company, we are in a position to offer, amongst other products and services, replacement air-cooled argon lasers, used in wafer inspection machines such as the Surfscan 6200 and 7600, CRS1010 (Ultrapointe), and Estek.

The replacement lasers have been repaired at our laboratory to extremely high standards, using new plasma tubes, rather than refurbished ones.  They are aligned using a state of the art alignment rig, and then tested to ensure that they meet the original manufacturer's specifications, both in power, and in beam characteristics.

Our programme works on an exchange basis; Laser Support Services will send a replacement laser in exchange for your defective laser.  We can normally ship from stock, ensuring you minimum downtime.

Freight issues
Laser Support Services are currently recommending that customers do not use FedEx for shipping lasers.  We have recently experienced many problems with transatlantic shipments with this company, including lost paperwork, extensive delays in transit, and missing packages.  Customers should also note that due to our location, FedEx use a subcontractor for collection and delivery to Laser Support Services, and add an extra day to the advertised time in transit.
