Laser Visualisors

Laser Support Services Ltd are pleased to bring a range of laser detection products for use with UV, Visible and NIR. These are constructed using a phosphor based scintillator screen. The "Visualize" range is sued for the alignment of laser beam profiles by converting ultraviolet light into visible light for laser safety. Each specification is available as credit card style, disc and wand style or as optical bench mounted head. Any of the styles mentioned can be customised to suit the requirements of an application.

All products in the Visualize range benefit from:

The Visualize gives broadband yellow/red emission under stimulation from blue through to NIR sources.

Laser Support Services are pleased to be a UK supplier of Acktar Advanced Coatings. The ability to coat various opto-mechanic components and parts is key to ensure stray light does not interfere with other apparatus or equipment. Acktar have a broad selection of coating films for different uses. Some foils and coatings are available in custom shape, size and quantity.

MagicBlack™

​MagicBlack™ is widely used in science and industry in fields including analytics and measurement technology, in semi-conductors, medical and life science , and in aerospace applications.
 

Key features:

UltraBlack™

UltraBlack™ is a coating that can be used for MWIR and LWIR which benefits from extremely low reflectance. This coating has also been tested and qualified for use within Space applications and projects.

Key Features:

  • High adhesion with the ability to adhere to metals, glass, ceramics and polymers

  • This coating has extremely low outgassing properties with measurements of just 0.001% CVCM

  • Lightweight with a thickness of just 13-25um

  • Temperature stability to withstand temperatures ranging between -269C to 380C

MAXiBlack™ is currently the blackest polymer available with the lowest reflectance across the spectrum from UV to SWIR. MaxiBlack™ uses thin-film technology adding to it's many benefits.

SpectralBlack™

Spectral Black™ operates with a wide band width for FUV, UV, VIS, SWIR, MWIR and LWIR. SpectralBlack™ is available as a foil with a self-adhesive backing for application to any desired surface.

Key Features:

  • Ideal solution for large areas and contaminated environments where the surface needs to be periodically renewed

  • Available as a roll or as a sheet of foil with a 200mm width

  • Temperature stability to withstand temperatures between -196C up to 400C (depending on adhesive used and period of use)
